My fees are based on a rate per 1,000 words. The rate depends on the complexity of the language, type of text, length of deadline etc, but it is typically £80 per thousand words.
Editing is usually charged at £20-25 per hour.
Proof-reading is usually charged at £15-20 per hour.
By determining the number of words in your document, I can give you an accurate quotation in advance. I am usually able to give a reasonably accurate estimate for editing and proof-reading.
